1st Quarter Regional Seminar @ USLT
IECEP Cagayan Valley Chapter in cooperation with the students of University of Saint Louis conducted a seminar last January 18, 2014 held at the James Ter Meer Gymnasium of University of Saint Louis. Registration of participants for the activity started around 7:30 in the morning. After the registration of professionals and students from different schools, the program started with a video presentation followed by a very inspiring opening remark by Engr. Ronald Villaverde, ECE Department Head. The presentation of participants and program rationale was delivered by the masters of the ceremony.
The first topic was Network System by Engr. Jonard Nollido, the country chair of BICSI (Building Industry Consulting Service International) Philippines. The participants were professionals as well as students from different colleges and universities in the region. After the first topic, election for the next regional officers of IECEP Cagayan Valley Student Chapter was conducted. Then, lunch was served.
In the afternoon session, the students remained in the gymnasium as Engr. Jonard Nollido presented the second topic: Cable Testing. Afterwhich, the professionals had their election for 2014. After the seminar proper, the new officers entertained frequently asked questions from their members and an open forum was also initiated. All participants and facilitators, as well as visitors left the venue around 5:00 pm.
